... routine tourist camel ride! We arrived in Tangier late afternoon but just did a driving trip around the city. It is. A rather stunning city perched in hills overlooking the strait of Gibraltar. It was an international city from 1929-1956 so has some beautiful wealthy old mansions , embassies and consulates. ... the beach was nice since it was away from the vendors and they tended to be less pushy on this side of town. I did manage to turn a lot more heads on this end of town thought which made me a little uncomfortable.
