    ... is full of new apartment blocks and several more under construction. We felt obliged to buy our evening meal supplies in Morrison’s but the cost of everything is more expensive than a UK store but twice Spanish prices in Carrefour back the road but it looks like a lot of the residents like their UK brands and will pay a premium for them. Anyway the delay of going backwards and forwards to Spain would discourage people. ...

    ... needed rest ( I fall asleep very easily in the warm morning sun ) after my long walk- my legs finally feel as though they are my own again! On the recommendation of my friend Sylvia, I downloaded Richard Flanagan's " The Narrow Road to the Deep North" which recently won the Booker prize- absolutely brilliant novel that's hard to put down.
