... as it did us! But it's not everyday you come to Paris, and there is so much to cram in! Fortunately we did two things right.
1. We had a very central apartment...2 minute walk to the Tuileries Gardens, 12 mins from the Louvre, 15 mins from Museč D'Orsay, and a 3 minute walk to the metro station to access all the other sites. This meant we could "go home" throughout the day if we needed to, which we duly did.

We headed back out for dinner and after wandering around for a while we ended up in a busy street-corner bar/restaurant. The food was really good - had a salmon salad - and all meals here come with free pieces of baguette! After a long day, bed time! Sunday 6 April 2014 The real reason I am ...

... to the ballet in this absolutely wonderful setting was an experience and a half, however with me feeling a little unwell, not having the best seats (I could only see maybe 10% of the stage without standing) and it being a contemporary piece I did not enjoy it as much as the other two. I ended up laying down on the couch and having a nap in the back of our box. I very much enjoy the more traditional ballet so the part os the ballet I did see I didn't enjoy so much. The ...
