      ... ht down for a 1000 meter
      vertical descent. Eina. Sore knees and toes were in order and to round it all
      off the path was full of stinging nettles and the temperature must have been
      close to 30 degrees. Oh well, one has to do these things as well in order to
      appreciate life to the full.

      So at last, back to our “house on wheels” and off to our
      camp where we washed away our aches and pains with a few cold ones and a Swiss “Boerie”
      braai.

      ... Arrivals pixel board and discovered that Lili and Guillermo's flight was 2-hours late! We relaxed, knowing that we weren't late after all. Met them as they arrived and went for coffee. Pleasant chat over coffee. All four of us had had a rewarding exchange. Guillermo and I walked to the car. He got behind the wheel and brought us to the Short-Term Parking easily.       ... Descent back to Les Avants ran down rugged stairs and then a country road. We resolved to ignore the GPS during the drive out, choosing the better roads as we wound our way down towards Montreux.
