46 kms.... AM - Another wonderful breakfast choice in our 4**** hotel, what else! The rain had gone, as predicted, and the sky was clear and sunny as we headed out of Brno. Left town through a seedy looking suburban area, I guess most cities have these areas. We followed a cycle track, sealed, along a small creek which we rode for kilometres until we reached a beautiful forest area, that clean, alpine ...

40 Kms.... AM - We had the morning to look around Mikulov, which was a quaint little village. Had a look at the village square then the castle on the hill (no princess's in there today Adele)! We stopped in Laa for an ice cream and a Gatorade, it ...

Paul raced back to the station to collect them. Time was ticking by and the bus driver no longer wanted to wait. When is the next bus? I asked? This is the last bus for today. Sigh. So i bid farewell to em and the kids and promised them we would make it there someway tonight or tomorrow. As soon as the bus turned the corner, ...

... changing with each century, and then there was always the inevitable fire in the 1500s or 1600s that burned everything down, so some exhibited nothing older than the late 1700s and many were from the 1800’s.

One curious thing is that every little town we drove into or through had a “torture museum” of some sort. That tells you something about the tribulations these people have been
suffering ...
