Day 6: Marseille
... staring out at the sea, surrounded by rocky walls. If course, we had to run down and touch the icy Mediterranean for the first time. The biting wind whipped us like a thousand boxing blows, laced with a chill, but that didn't stop us from hiking up to the top off the cliffs for some phenomenal views. We missed the summer lavender fields. If you really dig modern painting, Aix-en-Provence may hold some charm. Not a bad town, just nothing really spectacular.
