Today was a sad morning as we all depart Madrid today and go our separate ways. We had breakfast together on the Gran Via then most if us wondered a few shops for the last time then returned to the hotel to pack. ... to St. Paul's cathedral and mediate. So Sam and I enjoyed the tour ourselves learning lots. When it was over we found mom freaking out because we were back later then expected. ... to the fortress, the city has installed a funicular ride that takes visitors from ground level to the first level of the fortress. Visitors are able to wander through the various rooms and outdoor areas which are located at different levels within the fortress. All these are perched high above the streets below. Just amazing to walk around all that history. Museums are great, but this was just so good to be in such a historical place. ...

Today was the first day we've seen the sun since we arrived in London.
