... to fit all of our stuff into him. Either my packing is getting worse or we have all managed to sneak in some more shopping along our travels. We certainly appreciated the only 1 hr travel time this change over which equates to about 8 stink bombs from Jesse's ever more toxic derrière. There must be some really interesting gear in the lasagne's over here. Next changeover is a 5+ hour drive to Barcelona, that doesn't even bear thinking about.

A Special day with two Special people!
Being in the Basque area has been a wonderful experience for us, staying with Melanie and Vincent (The Basque Man from Mauleon) we have enjoyed incredible hospitality and developed a much better understanding of the Basque Culture. We had a wonderful time in San Sebastian! From exploring the narrow windy streets of Old Town ...

... Took a walk then to the other side, stunning views.

The evening was spent eating steak and drinking red wine and finished off at the casino. Unfortunately I lost my 100 euro's as well as 50 euros of Marks winnings. Oh well, I'll put it down as practice for the real thing in Vegas next month.

    Next stop Calais.

... a fairly residential area but conveniently about a 10 minute walk to the city center and the beach. We immediately headed into the city center and a walk along the beach. Biarritz was once the summer playground of the rich & famous, so it has kept it's status somewhat by keeping prices elevated. It is quite pricey, though coming from Spain where things are very inexpensive, one might be a bit ...
