... to find the Capri Palace Hotel and Spa Hotel and asked at the front desk and were told that it was a short 10 minute drive to the beach. They made us a reservation and we jumped into a convertible taxi and enjoyed the WILD ride back down to the waterfront. Walking into the restaurant we saw their logo which is a sea urchin. This reminded me of the lady who helped us at the beginning of our trip who had said that the restaurant she always come to for lunch ...

While Ma Roman prepared dinner, Pa Roman went off to the Public Baths, to debate affairs of prime importance with his mates! The public baths, amazingly intact and very Roman - a changing room, frigidarium, tepidarium and caladarium.....any excuse to get out of the cooking! The frigidarium, by far the most impressive was a circular bath with steps.....they could have sat there ...

05/12/2012 - We left Rome this morning and headed south for Sorrento, just past
Napoli. Didn't take long to get back into the groove of driving on the
wrong side of the road, in the wrong side of the car. Negotiating the
Rome traffic wasn't as difficult as we thought it would be. Wasn't long
before we were speeding down the autostrade.

... for a good view with the other boats attempting to do the same, then we go in and around the coastline on the South of the island. For those who swim, we stopped and sat for a while after passing through the natural arch. Where if you kiss you have a good marriage for as long as you have already been married...or something like it! Then we dock at the Marina Piccolo, the little harbour on the south side of the isle.
