... to get to the hotel. Apparently I viewed a whole section of the city that was not planned...I guess good exercise to help recover from my frustration. I then was able to find a laundromat as all my clothes, especially the biking clothes were in a need of a washing. ... and this time both his music and his comedy was more UK-focused. We went to the late show in the theater – a production show called “I Got the Music”. It was pretty good – lots of familiar music. We stayed up fairly late for us (after 11:00). Although the next day was in port in Oslo, we were didn’t need to be at the gathering point for our Princess tour until 9:45 AM.

... a full flavour of the town. Sitting in the boat gives a clear view of how the buildings seemingly disappear into the water which our pilot told us was about 500mm deep at the edges and about 2 metres in the middle. Gliding effortlessly under the numerous stone bridges that all date back to the medieval age and admiring the soaring spires, historic buildings so beautifully restored and cobblestone lanes....heaven!

Pont des Arts (Lover's bridge), the Louvre surrounds, the Tuileries gardens and the Luxor Obelisk (amongst other things) while giving a good view of the Champs Elysées and the Eiffel Tower from the Place de la Concorde. After the "free" tour everyone (about 30 ppl) tipped Billy about 10 euros, however being the poor student I am I only gave him 2 (even though I think it was worth at least 5, I just didn't have enough change). I didn't feel too bad though, ...
