    ... comprehension. The British, Canadian and Australian troops at Passchendaele are estimated to have fired over 4 million shells at the Germans. It literally rained shells.

    When I booked this tour, I thought, oh this will be interesting to see a few cemeteries from an old war and hear some history. It went way beyond that. It is simply hard to comprehend.

    But unfortunately, it does not appear, we have learned any lessons or our leaders have not learned.
