... might have had of getting off to have a look round are rapidly shot down as you realize that the Docks where cruise ships go are not the docks we go to. Our docks are 20 miles from human habitation, with knife wielding muggers behind every container. Besides which no-one can say when the ship will leave, and they sure as hell won't give you a tinkle to say can you hurry up back please, we hope to sail in the next 15 minutes.
