... fries...we waited for them because we watched her slice the potato then fry them up ...yum... the best fries I ever ate.

The people that we encountered today seemed more modern, wealthier, upscale, well dressed. We were warned by Mauricio to be careful in Chillan of pickpocketers, but we walked around at night and felt very safe and secure... It was a great experience.

We returned to our room and had a great nights sleep in our twin ...

Today, July 5th, started as most days do, with a lot of rain. The sky was swollen with clouds, and stained with the melancholy. The sun is hidden behind a curtain of mist and gray. ... laid in lovely hot thermal waters or by the pool in the lovely hot mountain sun. The ultimate relaxation was only broken up by the best dinner that i have had since arriving in Chile or by a trip to the spar to have a massage. Quite a good day i would say! The thermal water contained a lot of volcanic ash, i enjoyed making foot and hand prints under the water! Today we are traveling to Talca in between ...
