Today we landed in Paris and took a train to our hotel. The people at the airport was very helpful and friendly. We got off the train where we was told to but it was the wrong place. We got a little confused and it was a very dodgey area. We where followed by a man it was very scary. After asking in 2 different hotels we finally got on the right metro to our hotel. ... a bit of a bargain since you can leave it there all day, so handy to know for anyone travelling later in the day or evening and not having to cart it all around with you).

We then headed to the food hall at Harrods which was AMAZING!!! All the beautiful iced cakes, desserts, food from so many countries…it was very overwhelming! I thought Marks and Spencer had an awesome food hall but this was insane!

... I found them, and then about 5 minutes later we found Matilda, and Stacey had already started walking to the end of the street. The four of us continued down the street to find the coach, and along the way I found a Quiksilver shop ! I was so excited so had to get a photo, unfortunately we didn't have time to go in and have a look tho. As we got near the end of the street, we werent 100% sure of where the coach was actually picking us up from and it started pouring down with rain ! ...

... hand – 2 bottles of Vittel, and 2 Cokes. There weren’t any vendors within the stands, so it was either stand in line for the free ones, or leave the area to go in search of a vendor where the unwashed masses were waiting their turn to buy cold drinks.

The lovely thing about our seats – and don’t think this was a coincidence – was the proximity to the Jumbotron across the street, where they were showing live coverage of the race in progress. And ...
