Well, our trip has come and gone and now we are in Cagliari, Sardinia, Italy, waiting for our flights home tomorrow. We opted to stay in an American chain hotel near the airport, so there's not much for us to do today. We plan to just rest up and pack as we've got about 24 hours of travelling to do before we get home tomorrow night.

... any closer to completion but at least I will have plenty of practice frolicking through castle grounds by the time my European adventure is over. We walked through the area and there were some awesome views of the city and the port. We could see the Devil's Saddle way in the distance and it was really cool knowing we had been looking into the distance at the exact place where we were now standing. We arrived a little before 1:00 p.m. today. This is the first time the World has been to Cagliari and we were greeted by musicians and dancing along with a tasting of local drinks such as Mirto a strong sweet red wine and limoncello.
