We had a very enjoyable stay in this quaint hotel. Very quiet, clean, and comfortable. Well located within a few blocks of the ferry terminal and bus station, as well as city sights.

After lunch I have a look around the old town take some pictures and then wander back to the hostel. As I have a tv in my room I make the most of being able to watch tv. I haven't done this for months. There are a couple of English speaking channels and I indulge in doing nothing and being a couch ...

Cobbled streets, and beautiful gardens filled with all different types of trees. We took a taxi to the historic part, and the taxi driver was so funny he kept telling us about the architecture and the spanish and Portuguese influences, but we really did not understand what was going on, even though his english was good!
