We spent the morning visiting some of the city sights, starting with a drive up to Villa della Regina (former residence of the Queen) on the hills over-looking the city. After a wander through the grounds we headed into Turin itself for a walk around the city centre, taking in Piazza Vittorio Veneto, Piazza Castello, Palazzo Reale & Piazza San Carlo.

... a few other things and Mike had fish and pasta. My meal was ok, the pasta was definitely fresh – it was different sizes so clearly hand done! It was a bit hard and chewy but not too bad. The others had the same commnt about the pasta. The waiter was so funny – he seemed really happy to give us food and gave us a big smile once he’d served our food! He was really interested to know what we thought of it too and was very happy when we said it ...
