After breakfast Jean attended a "Tulipmania" lecture in the lounge. She already knew a bit about "Tulipmania," but learned that there have been several tulip bubbles and panics, and the chart was amazingly similar to any stock market or real estate bubble, collapse, and panic. Very instructivbe. At any rate, she learned a lot about the tulip business from the prospective of the middleman.

... of the size of the family we caught a taxi - Dennis was our driver and he is the son of Richard who owns the taxi business !!!! Just some useless info !!!! about half an hour drive outside of Amsterdam is the town of Hilversum.......very European !!! Lots of people on bicycles !!!! I mean lots !!!!! and because they are going into winter the trees are shedding their leaves.
