... people would sit on these steps to watch shows and dances. It was possible to walk all around the edge - great views! From here, you also had a panoramic view of the large Great Plaza. ... than Guatemalan or Salvadorian – infact it lost the Pupusita – so it was worse! More fried chicken then – yaaaaaaay!

And that’s about all of note! I tried to plan all of the rest of my trip through Honduras, but of course most of that went to **** instantly. I booked a direct bus to the port town, where I’d get a boat to the island of Utila… where I promise I’ll have a lot more to talk rant about!


Copan Ruinas

The town of Copan is actually called Copan Ruinas, which is a bit confusing as the ruins are actually about a kilometre away. The town itself, however, is a really beautiful place and you could easily spend a week here relaxing in the great cafes and visiting the nearby sights. The guidebooks say the nicest town in Honduras. We can't really comment as we have pretty limited experience but we liked it so much that we stayed an extra day just to soak up a bit more of the ...
