There was a lot of apprehension today as we were entering uncharted waters beyond our comfort zone. Bicycles totally dominate the city with paths all over, plenty of bike parking etc. There are paths from here to the 3 neighbouring cities, running along the river valleys. Our hotel has a dedicated, off street bicycle storage room. People start trips from here down to Venice and there is an all-over air of excitement as their journeys commence.
