    ... be doing it" when I deal with these issues. It's almost as if we are not allowed to enjoy life now we have retired.

    There are two people without whom we could never have contemplated long term travel - Julie and Simon. They have kept an eye on the property, they have collected post and then let us know if there was something needing to be done. They are truly amazing. They have even adopted our delinquent teenage cat, Simba. That really is friendship.

Jen passed the time by making us play a trivia game. I thought it'd be about the places we've been but it was standard trivia - famous things, books, movies and capital cities.     ... that A4 will merge with A42 ahead, but if you want the A31 to Metz you have to turn off NOW, opps missed it, but this one will go to Reims (no that's on the way to Paris), opps, that's gone too, next one is N411 to Namur (?? never heard of it) but I now appear to be heading north, so I better take this one.....

    ... They make and sell icecream at the shop at the gate, as well as locally-produced organic preserves, beer and cider. Once we had purchased our icecream, the lady took us back into the shed, where she and her husband were in the middle of milking. The cows looked very happy, unlike Leicester when one of them let out a jetstream of hot urine not half a metre from where he was standing!
