... by this river in the cool shade of large trees, did I mention it was hot? The temperature today was 29C, really hot and we were drinking water all day. Then more uphill and through several more tiny little villages looking for a deli (they don't have them) or a supermarket or something with a cold drink and an ice cream! ... It drizzled rain right through this 6km long gorge but the sky was clear when we exited the northern end! PM - Had lunch here in Skalni Mlyn, a scungy hot dog with mustard, not a good choice! A bit about these caves; the Punkva caves are an extension of the longest cave system in the Czech Republic whose corridors are over 30km long! LITOMYSIL - Discovering Sgraffito and Home of Smetana

Second stop, Medieval Bohemian town of Litomysil. It is quaint, and very, very quiet. Found out,it's Czech public holiday today and tomorrow. I can forget hopes of changing my Euros to Kroner.
