... problems. Bummer...we have to be back in England for the 29 April because the MOT runs out on the van and renders our insurance invalid instantaneously! Otherwise, who knows! That could have been a great diversion! We had a really good night and as we toddled back to our van, I was grateful that Mark had fixed the Leisure Battery or we would not have had any light to have our nightcap by!

... to say our byes tonight. It was so upsetting because he was such a wonderful guy, despite the fact that he didn’t realise he was smoking all of my cigarettes instead of us own. He made me laugh and we’d become so close, it was hard to see him go! We ended up sitting on the roof all night with a takeaway from Fritos, playing games and chatting on the roof till late. ... and the way we improved throughout the day. I think, given our inexperience in white water, we have done very well.

Dinner tonight is spag bol and with a couple of drinks around the camp fire we are starting to warm up again. We decide to sleep in the communal berber tent tonight and i get a better nights sleep although Bryony feels colder than the previous night, despite the actual temperature being several degrees warmer.
