... lo and behold, we were in the tiny village of Skalni Mlyn, full of hundreds of day trippers out to visit the nearby famous Punkva caves, and eat ice cream!! These caves are part of the Moravian Karst (limestone) system in the Central Czech Republic, a large heritage protected area. ... got lost then brought out an even older mobile phone with his number in it in case we needed his help! The other tours did nothing like this, just "here's your bike and map" and goodbye. He then drove us to Stockerau, about 18 kilometres out of Vienna where he unloaded our bikes and we packed our saddle bags, had a drink and were off, the wrong way of course! ... I came prepared with gloves, woollen jumpers and scarves. Seemed to keep humming "Small World" for no good reason that we could think of (?).

After exiting the cave we took the cable car to the top of the Abyss to the top viewing area, enjoyed lunch at the café, then walked down to a lower viewing area and finally back to the road train. After connecting with the train back to Brno we arrived home after ...

... we were home by late afternoon, glad to be unpacked and settled. I hardly had the car door closed before Will was running off to find Luke and Ava, his playmates!

Traveling is awesome, there is so much to see and do, but it is also very tiring. There is always a lot of decision making,logistical problems and organizing in between those amazing fun photos that you see!!

It was sure nice to relax back at Studniska Dolne!
