70kms.... AM - A sad day, we are leaving the Czech Republic! Tomas (Top Bicycle Tours) told us two white lies, he said CZ was flat and that CZ was about 25 years behind other European countries. Wrong and wrong again! This country is NOT flat and is NOT behind anywhere else, I have not seen a car older than 4-5 years and all the tractors, headers and most trucks are all quite new. 42kms.... AM - Last night we pulled out the slightly old, well used GPS unit that Tomas gave us in Vienna & decided to give it a try today. He said each days route had been entered into each of two GPS units he gave us. Well fired up one unit this morning, it worked, found today's route, it worked, put it on the bike & set off, it worked!!! Just had to follow the arrow on the compass background and voila, no problems in any little village or crossroad, ...

65 kms.... AM - Had breakfast in Pension Kriva, Lana was able to smuggle enough breakfast goodies for our lunch today, and leaving Olomouc we spotted a veggie & fruit market in a courtyard so ducked in for some fruit. Fairly easy leaving a big city like Olomouc as we followed the "highlighted" bike trail on our map along the rivers & creeks heading east.
