What a great first day! After breakfast we headed out to Topkapi Palace which was one of the sultans palaces. On the way I knew Mike would be at home driving here because everyone honks at each other. Our excitement for today consisted of three stray dogs fighting right next to our group as we waited to enter the palace. During the trip, we will be visiting numerous locations in Turkey and Greece. Along the way, the choir will be performing several concerts. Some of these concerts will be formal, and some more "impromptu." Our program includes choral repertoire from America, Greece, and Turkey, and will vary with each performance.
