... Of and of course there were fireworks. One BIG party. Absolutely fantastic. There are many things that I will remember forever from this trip, and this will certainly be one of them.

Okay so that's my little intro to Berlin - I'm really looking forward to sharing my travels with you while I'm here. Berlin is absolutely one of my favorite cities, and I hope after reading my posts this week you'll want to visit Berlin sometime yourself.

We cruised along at 90-100 mph and I decided to double check the hotel reservation in Berlin for tonight...Intercontinental Berlin. Sounded like a great hotel. I don't know of many Intercontinentals that are bad. The reservation said it was for Wednesday, leaving Saturday...Oops! It should be for Tuesday leaving Friday. We'll work it out when we get there. But it worried me all the way to Berlin.

Today was a big day! Try to get up early and go to the zoo and aquarium then off to the holocaust memorial and info centre, then to the museum of the Berlin Wall then off to the Christmas market to ride down the 150m snow tube hill!!! We got up and out of bed but not early! We managed to get to the zoo by about 11ish. We paid €20 for the zoo and aquarium. The weather was 9 degrees and a bit wet, so quite warm hehe. The zoo ...
