A wonderful piece to sit and study for 30 minutes. The museum provides an English cheat-cheat to find each of the proverbs displayed. This alone is well worthy a trip to Berlin. And at the end of your tour you will even find a Botticelli, a Madonna and Child.

... crazy, so we crossed that off our list and went to plan 2, find me a Berlin souvenir. Back to Alexanderplatz for Starbucks and free WIFI. We located the Alexa, a huge mall and headed there. ... One forgets that Germany too had it's fair share of opulence. Or one associates it more with the countryside in Bavaria.

I thought it was Charlottenburg but the pictures on the net look much more impressive. Perhaps this is Charlottenburg but some lesser building out the back.



And I think this is the Reichstag. With a bit of a modern extension.
