... an Old London Pub. The food was terrible, we need to stick to Italian in Italy. The beers were apparently good though. They also sold no wine - very strange.
The night was extremely entertaining as Thurston mentioned to Gunger that packing and being ready by 7.00 tomorrow morning could be quite difficult for her. Ginger responded with a 'friendly' thump to the arm - which in Thurston's words - nearly pushed him off his ...

Watched 'Dirty Dancing' in German last night. Kept me amused.

As a result of stuffing my shoes with all that loo paper, had none ths morning - had to steal it off the cleaners cart!

We left the hotel at 10am today so a really lazy start but not much to see on the way to Opatija and we can't arrive too early as we can't check in early. ...

Triesta

A travel blog entry by yocawdeary on May 15, 2014

Arrived today in Trieste. Going on the brand new Regal Princess tomorrow for four day shake down cruise. Ship already here, we walked past her this evening. She looks beautiful. Trieste is fantastic, not at all how we remember it, as a dirty industrial town. There are beautiful buildings and piazzas. Will take lots of photos tomorrow before getting on the ship. Had a delicious pizza this evening, now in our accommodation, the Barcelona apartments See you to or row, Yo and ...
