... As it was sunday, everything was closed so we spent most of the day outside wandering around, and most of the evening trying to dry off and thaw out.
The next day we quickly toured the (closed) Great Market and the Church that was right outside our apartment. It was raining so we made it quick!
We only had one full day here, so we packed our bags, threw on our rain gear and headed to our next adventure.

It seems like every street you walk down in the tourist areas you'll notice several waffle makers. No, I don't mean the metal waffle iron. Waffle vendors. I had to have one. The train ride back to Brussels was generally uneventful. Michael slept for most of the time, which has become his typical activity for all trains, whether commuter or metro or whatever.
