... The tea was lovely, but I'm still yet to see this movie. Perhaps I'll hold off on watching it until after I've finished my travels though! Later in the afternoon we had the opportunity to indulge ourselves in one of the local Christmas traditions, watching the nativity play performed in the main square of town by a group of locals. ... Vienna to Ceske Budejovice and once on the platform an elderly gentleman must have thought we were lost and checked our tickets for us. He suggested we catch the train with him one station away so we could board at the first stop and have plenty of time to get our seats and store our bags.

... Ceske Budejovice was pretty straight forward-- huge town square along a nice river with quaint little buildings. The book made it sound pretty boring, but it was absolutely beautiful. We arrived right at sunset, so we got some really neat reflection pictures at the river. We ate dinner at a traditional Czech place that only had menus in Czech and German (ugh), so we had to try and figure out the German menu. ...
