I've got a long way to go to get home and not long to do it North Serbia & Hungary are very flat & very unexciting I hit the road, did 460 miles and finished up in a one horse town in Austria.

... can hear people's accent is different here, they say "Jo" instead of "Ja", they're relaxed and welcoming... Are they to Germans what Belgians are to us? At some point we had to cross the Danube to follow the path and the guy there asks for 2 euros per passenger to go 100m. Merp. Anyways, we're on course to be in Vienna by Saturday night, so all is good, except we need to rest our weary legs ...

... couple. Outside there were three more tables but as it was raining they were empty, for obvious reasons. Jana had told us that the food was excellent, the kitchen was clean, the people were very friendly and it was cheap. She was correct on all counts and we whiled away a pleasant evening there enjoying the warmth and the great food. Rob is particularly enamoured of the local beer, Eggenberg, which is brewed in the town.

... was great. The rest were Austrians that spoke varying degrees of English. We stayed in the castle and the room reminded me of a Disney movie the way the windows opened and then you just looked out of the castle on to the Austrian countryside. Amazing. The wedding was in this ballroom with beautiful chandeliers everywhere and murals on the walls and ceilings. Vanessa and Christoph looked like a king and queen during the ceremony.
