... purchase an umbrella, that got replaced 3 hours later when my first one bit the dust.

I've been to the Piazza by my school, and to Duomo, and Piazza della Signoria. I haven't taken many pictures because of the rain, but I have some to share.

Most of the city just amazes my with how beautiful it is, even when cold and wet. But Basilica di Santa Maria del Fiore (or Duomo) is ...

... On Tuesday night, we tried again, and ended up seeing "Cesare Deve Morire" a movie about prisoners putting on a performance of Julius Caesar. It was actually really interesting, and a fun night activity!

Also, multiple times this week I have squished Il Doge in my sleep. Hence the title.

Stay tuned for next weeks blog, all about my upcoming trips to Pisa and Siena! As well as an adventure to Vogue's Fashion Night Out, Florence edition.

... It was so much fun for me to share this experience with all of you. Everyday I signed on to see new comments and they always made my day. I wasn't really expecting many people to read this- mostly just my parents and Aunt Deb...but I've had over 500 views in the past six weeks. Grazie Mille!

So back to real life I go- I board my plane out of Florence at 10am and will land in Detroit at 7:47pm (it was meant to be :) )

Ciao!
