... Woszczowa. It looked religious. I finally hit the 100 mark and reached a campsite, which is more like a football field at the end of a line of kebab stands and campsite cabins near a lake, in Sielpia Wielka. It's full of the kind of people spending their summer in the same campsite. Yup. Anyways, one more, even bigger stage tomorrow, and I'll be very close to Warsaw and drawing near the end of this trip. ...

... beef steaks to taste. It was a small token to say thank you for the generous hospitality of the family, over many meals they have provided and the special places they have shown us.

The goodbyes were hard, as we leave to go back to Krakow, then Frankfurt, early tomorrow. It has been a dream come true for Viktor and his family to be together. The love and acceptance they have shown both of us is just so special. The tears flowed as we said "Do Widzenia."

... thunder. It is quite strange, as it was almost tropical - the last thing I expected to experience in Poland. We enjoyed nature's entertainment whilst dining on the terrace. As in most Polish hotels, the curtains are virtually non existent, so we watched it as we went off to sleep as well.

Today we had a late brunch, and got talking to a couple nearby. They are originally from Poland, but have been living in Canada for 35 years. ...

... where he had worked ( a quarry), and where the Kalisz family had lived for many years. We think Vik's dad sent a message - as a sudden thunderstorm surrounded us. Aunt and Uncle thought it was Vik's dad crying with joy!

The main reason for this trip was for Vik to meet his family.We managed to find our way to and through Frankfurt airport, only to find our flight delayed. The walk to Gate 42 was at least two kilometres! Eventually we took off, and after 80 minutes landed to a very wet Krakow.Jola and Darek were there waiting for us, and there were tears, hugs and kisses all round!
