... with hot coffee, which was especially nice in the damp, wet weather, and walked back to the hotel in a steady drizzle. On our walk back, we passed a bakery and pastry shop. I swear that Hoki has never met a pastry shop that he didn’t like. He said he only wanted to browse; we left with a couple of pieces of raspberry cake.

Back at the hotel we relaxed for the rest of the afternoon and evening. Early in the evening, we ordered coffee, ...

The next morning, we drove from Hamburg to Lübeck, where my great-aunt lives. We went for a walk through the city but it was very cold, so we had to go to a cafe soon.
Later we met my aunt at the Niederegger shop, which is a very famous German Marzipan manufacturer. We stepped in for a coffee and extremely delicious cakes and bought some of the famoues Lübeck Marzipan specialities as a souvenir.
Then we continued our journey to Schwerin.
