... and decided to go find a pub. The one we were looking for wasn't actually there (maybe it opens later), so we wandered down and found a local-looking pub called Duende and went to order a drink. ... before the 17th so I can go camping in Duluth. and Valley Fair is a MUST! No worries there. My favorite rides are all of the rides that mom hates to go on. The more butterflies and scarier, the better. The Scrambler and Wild Thing are awesome as well as the Octopus.

... between our countries. (Incidentally, I can't believe it's been 20 years since the dissolution of Czechoslovakia... I still keep wanting to call it that, instead of the Czech Republic and Slovakia) Anyway, the time flew by during our discussion, and it was nice to actually have a proper conversation, as I haven't really done that since (I think) the Egypt tour finished!

We arrived in Prague, said our goodbyes, and went our separate ways. Poor Helena ...

... the sun having finally broken through the darkened clouds on our final afternoon.

Due to the inclement weather, much of Prague is left unseen to me. For one thing, I was keen to see the St Charles Bridge at dawn, but never had the opportunity because it was closed the entire length of our stay. Now, as I stand above the city with Chloe, Prague looks magnificent and convinces me that it is a city that is worth a return trip and "proper" ...
