... the sound of the water running down its bed. The current was strong due to previous several rainy days and thus heralds a rather physical morning.

We were given a complete equipement : thick wetsuit -together with socks - which reassured me as I thought water was possibily snow melting down - helmet, harness and snap hooks. Stefan explained how to abseil and made us try on a wooden wall.

It looked like something out of a movie to see them converge from all directions as if on cue, but of course it was on cue and the bell was the cue. We then went to Reschen for lunch after seeing the bell tower on St Peters Church that was all that remained visible of the town of Graun, a town of 1000 people that was demolished for the Reichensee Dam in 1950.
