    ... houses. I got some great saturated shots. It was so unexpected which was nice for a change, and I'm really surprised burano isn't more widely known about, I guess it does come second to Venice. We had a nice lunch, lasagne for me, and my body will like it when we can't eat pasta anymore. They said 'no cover charge' but a 5 euro 'tax' each isn't considered cover charge I guess, which turned a cheap meal into half the meal ...

    ... is the place to buy. Part of our city tour included a boat ride around the city. This is a port city, which gets 55,000 freighters passing through their waters every year. We saw a number of mosques, including the famous Blue Mosque, which we visited. The term Blue refers to the thousands of blue tiles which are used on the inside on the ceilings. I took pictures inside, but they can’t really portray the size and awesomeness of this building.

    ... walked to our apartment. The apartment was close to the wharf and was easy to get to. Dad had to call the gate so that it would open it was so cool.     This morning we couldn't find anywhere that served a breakfast like we are used to at home with your normal eggs, bacon and toast etc. It may be that Italians prefer not to have a big meal to start the day and graze throughout instead.
