    ... Our traveling friends Marty and Bobbie Salina joined us early in the evening from their London, Paris, and Milan excursions. We are glad to connect with them and look forward to spending the next two weeks exploring together. We continue to honor our pledge to try a different gelato flavor every day.     Heading back to the crowds was of no interest so I decided to walk around the north-east corner of the city. First I found the north shore (calling it the 'coast' doesn't really feel right) with it's views of the distant airport on the mainland and the numerous water taxi stops.
