Great to see Peter Bishton and Bernard Bolt for two days. A very long breakfast at Gargarou. I think it lasted until about 2.30pm. Is that a record? In the evening we join other friends in Charakopio for another fantastic concert from french jazz/folk/blues quintet Troupa Soui. This time upstairs at Iannis and Foulis' taverna. Beautiful Venetian castle (1200-1500AD) on the rock above Koroni, with views out to sea on three sides. Inside the curtain walls there is a convent and several churches of varying ages. Nuns still live up there and tend the most beautiful gardens into which visitors are always welcomed. Our local beach, 5 minutes down the lane. A small cove with a gently sloping sandy beach so the water is shallow a long way out. Great for an early evening walk with the dogs and their daily swim.
