... the ferry. Panic overtook me slightly here, and I waited until I saw Manuel driving onto the ferry before embarking myself, I wanted to be sure we were going to end up on the same ferry! ... rock, and the famous fertility rock. Pictures of the cave one old Indian lived to be 97 and his family still lives in the cave. We ended that day by a hike into a canyon to natural hot springs. That night we came back and listened to the most beautiful music of Spanish Ballads of songs from all over the world while we drank apple tea. The place was full of her local fans as she was from the town of Creel. The world needs to hear her music!

After our "Express" bus from El Fuerte to Los Mochis, and yes, it actually was quicker, we got the usual variety of directions, misunderstood some from a bus conductor, walked around an unnecessary block and then stood where we should have, on the opposite side of the road from where we asked the bus conductor :-)

Then, there it was, a smaller sized but "Chicken Bus" nevertheless and proudly sporting the wonderfully named destination of Topolobampo :-)

... I got today is that I am only due back at work a few days later than I first thought and due to this gives me time to ride my bike to NewYork instead of only Las Vegas. It will add about 3500 miles onto my distance from the tip of the world at Ushuaia.

Its now almost 9pm here and my eyes are closing. I never got much sleep last night for the reason I was thinking hard if I should terminate at Las Vegas or race to New York!!! Of course now that I have ...
