... enclosed by apartments...and there are restaurants and shops on the ground floor. Huge white market umbrellas all around the edges of the square as people dined outside. About every 30 seconds water would spray from the centre of these umbrellas....in a fine mist down onto the diners to keep them cool. ... Sierra Moncayo, coated in a thick layer of snow, showed up like a ghostly spectre on the horizon as the light faded. We travelled the last few miles in the pitch dark. Thankfully Rhoda knew the way this time. It was 7:30 pm when we arrived.

... They set off firecrackers and blow on noisemakers. They also throw pasta, rice, and beans when the newlyweds emerged from the church. Many of the women had little pieces of rice and pasta in there hair.
The couple then got into a fancy car decorated with white flowers on the inside. They will meet up with their family and friends at the reception.
