      ... than snowboarding because your legs are side by side not at a wide stance which gives you more balance. It also requires a lot of upper body strength (which I don't have) to use the paddle and manoeuvre the board. Over time I'm sure it would become easier but after half an hour I was done and let Mike have a go. We spent the whole day on the beach and had guacamole and nachos for lunch in the restaurant.       ... by mid afternoon we still had time to explore a bit so we went for a walk up the beach to the small town where we ate in a little restaurant on a side street recommended in the rough guide called Buena Vista. A family run fish restaurant where the catch is fresh everyday. I chose the Lobster as it was reasonable at £15 compared restaurants in Cancun where it's twice that.       The sea is looking less stormy than the last three days luckily and so we are off to the island on a day trip. Not to be recommended. Paying our port tax of US$6 each had Cuba in our mind all over again. You had to wait in a long line outside a small office which was air conditioned with 3 terminals but only 1 person working.
