... even found a building that had a woman painted on the building looking out a window .See pic . Although it was a cooler day the sun came out in the afternoon , so spent a few hours by the pool reading and enjoyed the spa . I think we are going to leave SML earlier than planned for Levanto . A 13 minute train ride took us over the border to Italy , we had a 90 min wait here so we walked to the beach and I had my first Limoncello .Garry had '3 Becks beers and the pretty waitress bought him a tray of olives . ... that we were going to be firstly mugged and then trapped inside this wooden box – he can be such a drama queen sometimes! However the view was worth it. Next stop after all the walking was coffee and of course pastries at a sidewalk café. Keith soon discovered the language challenges when he ordered a Latte and got only warm milk. We have since learned to ask for a Café Latte if you actually want coffee in it!!

... in this amazing city. But, my heart was set on going to Portofino. It is an old resort town. It is quiet and less crowded.
