Road Trip - RodT
Stop 3: On our way to RodT. Stopped quickly in the nicely named Dinkelsbuehl which was lovely. Rothenburg definitely lived up to its recommendation of being the place not to miss on the romantic road. This place is straight out of a German Christmas card. It was a bit of a stress finding the B&B as there were some streets that cars weren't allowed down - eventually we ...
Medieval German Cuteness
We woke up and went down to the breakfast room to grab some breakfast and make some sandwiches to take for lunch. We checked out of our hotel as another older woman was doing the same. We would also like to let our family know we are thinking about them and Linda Kalb during the Walk to Defeat ALS. We love ...
Rothenburg... stalking the Nightwatchman
... a gorgeous room on the top floor, sloping
ceilings! Attic room! We had a delicious dinner in the hotel restaurant
and then joined the night watchman's tour, which we had read about lots
of times. It was fantastic. The Night Watchman had so many clever and
funny lines and managed to weave the history of Rothenburg into a very
funny and entertaining one hour walk around the city. He noticed Tom
taking a zillion photos and at the end we offered to email ...
