Into Charakopio and meet Sitaris. Insists that we come to see him as he has a large pot of olive oil for us. Sadly no time before we leave (and realistically, no room in the van for more olive oil). Last dinner at Foulis, sitting outside watching the world go by. Very pleasant though only semi understood chats with Ianni, Foulis and their son Michaelis. Lots of hugs goodbye and gifts of ouzo, olives and olive oil. I am sure we will see them ...

One week done!✅ Last night, we went to Steki and met up with Joel's family again for one last drink and then went to the Riviera for tea. Other days were spent exploring impossibly deep gorges, old castles and churches and historic sites like Mystras and Sparti – where the Spartan soldiers came from.
