Surfing Bangladesh
... wind came and went over the course of the week, as did a slight rise and fall of the swell. My group of local friends made for great company in and out of the water, showed me where to chase waves, and helped teach some of the history of surfing in Bangladesh and its importance with the local community. There’s actually an annual surf contest! All said, it was a very memorable experience, doing something I love in a place I’d least expect it.
