... are! Town just as I imagined. Motel lovely and lots of little streets to wander around and bars and restaurants. Went up in the castle, which isn't so impressive, and up the tower. ... letters, this Computer is programmed for German and keeps throwing in Capitals! the letters on the Keyboard are also in different places, most crucually, z and Y - so I Keep putting z instead of y! the question mark is also in a different place. Now I wouldn't call myself a touch typist, but it's more automatic than I realise!


PPS sorry about lack of entries so far, no wifi in house! Enjoy this one ...

... prices. The big yellow buses have individual tv screens with a selection of movies, onboard Wifi, reserved seats, and even hostesses that serve you complimentary water and hot drinks. We have used them several times now, and think they are great!

As soon as we arrived into CK and started walking from the bus station to our accommodation we could see the colourful tower of the castle towering above the town, and walking down the cobble stoned streets, we were ecstatic ...

... that suddenly appeared took away from the dramatic presence the castle had. I climbed up one of the bell towers which offered an amazing view out over the town. For the first time I was able to tell, in detail, how the river wound it's way through the town and how the small streets criss crossed this way and that through the different parts of the town. I was up there the longest by far despite the cold wind. Next I walked through a museum that offered a small glimpse into the life ...

UNESCO and forest

... has been kind to us for the last few days, it's reached a top of sixteen degrees, I wore shorts!
We took a bike ride into Blansky Les (les means forest) and rode round Klet hill, it was amazing with the ash and birch trees going into their autumn colours, the fresh air and peace. Also great to have a bit of exercise, I miss owning a bike and will definitely get one no matter where I settle.
