    ... eco friendly let's preserve fish life in all its wonders' ethos of the aquarium. The film of the otter cub Luna was heartwarming and we followed it with the otter feeding session. It was a little over-crowded, but we were still able to see the otters as they were fed and put through their paces.     ... out the BART station however I discovered a Westfield shopping centre at the end of Powell … they must have an optometrist in there I thought, so in we went.








    We eventually found one right at the top level but it was close “Back in 15 minutes” was written on a Post It Pad. We sat and waited and noted someone else wanted to see the shop. After several minutes a young woman opened up the shop and in we went.

    We are booked for an official elephant seal tour in two days time but we've been given a hot tip that there is a good place to stop on this part of the drive to catch a peek of the big smelly beasts. OK, well apparently we probably might as well cancel our 'tour' since there are more elephant seals here at such a close distance that I have ever seen in my life.
