    ... on a beach all alone and couldn't find her mum so had to take her back to look after her. The people there have to do the 3 hours of grooming for them all with a black poncho, gloves and black welding mask as they have learnt that if they get too attached to humans, they don't act natural back in the wild. They aren't even allowed to talk to them! They use a surrogate otter mum to teach it to dive and use tools etc... then eventually release it back to the wild.

    ... amazing ocean scenery I stole some wifi from the local library and kind of wished there was a cabin available when I went to book the day before I flew cause I was getting a little tired. I went on another hour or so and finished up at the Hyatt in Monterey, which was nice enough, and on a golf course (love my golf). Room service ordered, showered and now in bed at the ripe hour of 10pm.

    ... amp; Della have never been to San Francisco so we were their tour guides but a two day stop was way too short to see everything. None-the-less - we rode the cable cars, strolled through Union square, walked along Market Street, toured the ferry terminal, rode the trolley cars along Embarcadero Way, drove the winding Lombard street, visited Coit Tower, viewed the Transamerica building and gobbled oysters at Pier 39. ...

    Heading for the west coast of California today started off a little chilly compared to what we have been used to but very comfortable and warmed up to about 78 Deg and became very windy later in the day, It looks like petrol is a lot more expensive in California now averaging $3.29 ...
