The crossing to Ibiza (Jilly's journey to ....)
... watch through to 6 am and Jilly went below for her rest period.
The wind was now easing a little from a high of around 25kts at 11pm and was now 18kt and at 1am we now had 39 nm to go and had passed the half way point. It was around this time that Jilly started to be ill!
Unfortunately Jilly's condition did not improve much for the rest of the journey and it was not untill about 6am that she was finally able to get some sleep ...

The Crazy and Beautiful Island of Ibiza!
... The Spanish party very late and verrrry long! We met up with everyone form our group in one of our rooms at 11:00 for pre-drinks and some dinner, then at 2:30am we decided to leave for the biggest and best club in Ibiza, Amnesia! There was over 6,000 people there for the famous Foam Party that lasted until 8:00am the next morning! So it was a short sleep before we were back on the beach again!

Hot and sunny Ibiza
To get to Ibiza we had joined Silver Sea's Silver Spirit in Barcelona and sailed overnight. We joined the ship the previous day in time for lunch (of course- because the food is very good!). The Sail away party was at 6pm followed by drinks in the bar and then dinner. We met lots of people on this first night so good socialising.
