    ... crazy rooms and some sort of game involving a red sports car and many tubes along the ceiling. However we are grown ups so we did not take part in this.

    After this we went to Venice Beach, which was pretty much like every depiction in films and TV programs with kids skating and we saw a bikini body judging competition on muscle beach, with many muscular men presenting awards.

    ... on day 1. OK got my taxi ticket and then joined the wrong queue...yep another queue! In the taxi...try to have a conversation with the driver...why? Its 9pm, he doesn't speak English and I speak even less Spanish! Am I going to tip...its late...I have no small pesos, have no idea the exchange rate yet and am not about to pull out my travel wallet will all my various currencies, cards and passport to find one US dollar to tip...so its a reluctant too tired NO. ...

    ... of riding back to good old Santa Monica for the last few things. Pulled the bags downstairs and cracked into the major part of packing. We had already booked an extra piece of luggage for the Playmobil box which is massive. Got the majority of the task done. Jumped on the bikes and headed off.
