We stayed here as it was a requirement for our diving. A little dissapointed in this as there were other places in Semporna of better value. We stayed in the dorms to save a little cash and unfortunately for us one of the beds squeeked terribly resulting in little sleep. On the positive side, the fresh towels, shampoo and hot showers were nice after a day in the sea. It was clean enough and a good place to meet up with fellow travellers.

... office and Gonzalo appeared behind me. What a coincidence and perfect timing! We bought our tickets to KK (RM 34 per person) and since the ferry´s departure was scheduled for 13.00 we decided to have a quick lunch in one of the local restaurants across the street.

We spent the whole journey from Labuan to KK by speaking with Sean and Zuzka so we didn´t even notice that we were about to land at the ferry terminal of KK. It was 3 hours, though! While we were determined ...

... through the boat ride when it stopped but remained ominous. Our dive was with Joe, a late 20's Malay with long hair on top of his head and shaved sides and back, and completely covered in tattoos. We did our checks and went down on the side of the reef and saw some more amazing animals and corals. We came up 45 minutes later as Blake and I both ran out of air, at the final ascent my ears didn't equalise properly ...

Semporna - Mabul

I woke up at 5 to my alarm, the Netherlands v Argetina game was 0-0, so I went back to sleep. By 6:45 it was 0-0 ft and 2-4 in penalties so I was glad I missed it. We got some noodles, omelette and spring rolls from a cafe at 7:30 then I got the 8am boat from Scuba with a couple from Wales and their instructor Sarah. I was teamed ...

... knows me it is not easy for me to get to that stage...I just can't believe it and somehow I am not prepared for it either. 2 months??? That's nothing, and I know that!!!
I had to decide what to do next...there is still so much to see...it is like never ending story.
I decided to think it all through. Either I go to Indonesia which was not in my plan from the very start, or Myanmar which wasn't on the list either! Which one I should go to?? Or maybe none of ...
