... changed drastically to complete desert like conditions, complete with sand dunes, wind and barren terrain. Climbing down into Kegbeni was beautiful, we could see the entire walled town from high up, surrounded by the river and valley beyond. Kegbeni was a neat little quiet medieval town, with friendly people, old stone buildings, small passageways and an abundance of baby cows. We happily explored the town before settling in a small guest house.

Nachdem wir uns von Pokhara losreißen konnten und unsere Waden sich soweit wieder erholt haben, dass wir uns in gemäßigtem Tempo zumindest 500m bewegen konnten gings im Microbus relativ bequem Richtung Kathmandu.
Die Straße - der Highway (!!) - die meist befahrendste Straße Nepals hat den Namen Highway nicht verdient. Man könnte sagen, so manche Hofeinfahrten und Landwirtschaftswege bei uns sind besser gepflastert als das Ding hier. Naja, man ist das ja fast schon dran ...

... et scéances de méditation. C'est marrant, il y a un arrière gout de lycée avec une pointe de catéchisme sans oublier le dogme et la morale. Bref. Vanessa vit intésemment son expérience...de mon côté, j'ai pas de grande vérité mystique..mais coule des jours heureux à manger des bounty, essayer de comprendre la vie, la mort et la compassion bouddhiste en dégustant du thé et en interprétant les oeuvres d' art (thangkhas, roues, illustrations..) De belles journées à découvrir ...
